Principal Technical ConsultantParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Technical Consultant to join our team! In this role you will get to provide advice and consulting as a technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) to resolve problems. Remove impediments, reviews work for completeness, and meets or exceeds customer requirements. Solve a variety of business problems with innovative solutions.Specific Responsibilities:Consults on the execution of advanced solution strategies.Provides technical expertise; SME (Subject Matter Expert).Works with company leadership and Project Managers to deliver professional technical services and solutions.Maximizes customer operational performance by providing resources and technical advice.Stays up to date with current trends and developments.Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, quality assurances, management, etc.).Collaborates with other team members to ensure on-going improvements in quality and service.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience15+ years extensive experience as a technical consultant in a related industry, including supervisory experience and experience presenting information/assessments to senior personnelExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to analyze and interpret complex information from various sources; decision best way to move forwardExceptional ability to work well with othersAbility to work independently as well as in a teamAdvanced knowledge of and ability to apply best industry practices and regulationsAdvanced problem solving, judgement, and decision making skills; understanding current and future implicationsAbility to understand related technical impact with current and future situationsAdvanced skill in Microsoft Office programsAbility to work under pressure and meet close deadlinesDemonstrated ability to provide technical support in a demanding work environmentAbility to understand complex and in-depth technical situations and related business challengesSecurity Clearance Requirement: NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
