Facilities Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Processing & FacilitiesCafe Spice is seeking a Maintenance Manager Processing & Facilities to lead and oversee both production equipment and facility infrastructure within our fast-paced, USDA and FDA regulated food manufacturing environment. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all processing equipment and plant utilities, while driving operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage maintenance operations across processing, packaging, and facility systemsOversee equipment including kettles, conveyors, tray sealers, filling lines, chillers, ovens, and automation systemsManage facility infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical systems, fire protection, and utilitiesDevelop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and asset lifeTroubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systemsEnsure compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and all safety/regulatory requirementsPartner cross-functionally with Production, FSQA, Sanitation, and Operations teamsUtilize Fiix CMMS and ERP systems to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, asset tracking, and reportingLead capital projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiativesManage budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of parts and servicesOversee emergency response and ensure operational continuity across the plantBuild and develop a high-performing maintenance team focused on safety, accountability, and performanceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong technical expertise in:Food processing & packaging equipmentHVAC, boilers, refrigeration systems (ammonia/Freon), compressed air, wastewater systemsElectrical and mechanical systemsExperience with CMMS and ERP systemsKnowledge of PLCs and industrial automation is a strong plusProven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive cross-functional collaborationStrong understanding of regulatory compliance and food safety standardsWhy Join Cafe Spice?Be part of a growing, innovative food manufacturing companyPlay a key leadership role in driving operational excellenceOpportunity to lead both equipment and facility strategy in one integrated roleCollaborative, fast-paced environment with strong leadership support
