Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations. This role involves interpreting medical care plans, conducting patient assessments, and ensuring safe and competent nursing practices.

Essential Functions

Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans based on patients' responses and conditions.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Licenses and Credentials: Required to have a Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state.
Experience: Clinical nursing experience of 0-1 year required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Familiarity with practical nursing principles and skills for providing patient care and treatment.
Knowledge of necessary care for respective age groups.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
Understanding of medical terminology.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
