Machine Operator

Total Talent Solutions is now hiring a machine operator in Orange, VA. The pay rate is $17.37 per hour for the 2nd shift, which runs from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. As a machine operator, you'll run the gear, keep the line alive, and take home steady pay with solid benefits.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a CNC machinist or similar machining role
• Familiarity with multiple CNC machines and control systems
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques
• Strong attention to detail, quality mindset, and safety awareness

Preferred qualifications:

• 24 years of hands-on machining experience
• Welding knowledge is a strong plus
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

Job duties:

• Operate conventional and CNC production machines, including (but not limited to) winder, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, and welders
• Perform finishing work such as sanding and deburring to meet quality standards
• Apply knowledge of material hardness, tooling selection, cutting speeds/feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and production standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a safety-focused manufacturing environment
