Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Dickson, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with Charge experience. As part of the Women's Services team, you will be responsible for caring for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, with a focus on both mother and newborn care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including assessments and interventions.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and delivery situations, ensuring safety and support for mothers and newborns.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions, and vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries.
• Conduct daily safety rounding on all patients and maintain clear communication with the clinical team.
• Utilize advanced fetal monitoring and induction techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have significant experience in Labor and Delivery, with knowledge of OB emergencies.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Fetal Monitoring training is essential.
