Medical Assistant - Primary Care - Annadale, NY
Seeking a Medical Assistant with a focus in Primary Care for a contract position in Annadale, NY. The role requires working onsite in a family medicine setting, providing support in specimen collection and quality assurance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Candidates should have relevant experience and certifications.
Pay Range: $17.64 - $25.20 Per HR
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Certification as a Medical Assistant
Familiarity with specimen collection and laboratory procedures
Experience with venipuncture techniques
Experience working with adults and geriatrics preferred
Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Experience in Pediatrics, Infusion, Chemo, or Oncology is a plus
