AI / Azure Solution Architect

Position: AI / Azure Solution Engineer Location: Remote Type: Consulting/Contract Rate: DOE Preferred location: Texas Seeking a senior AI / Azure Solution Engineer with hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise AI solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Key Qualifications Public sector, pension, or financial services experience is a strong plus. Strong hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry/Microsoft Foundry. Experience designing and implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions. Experience with Azure AI Search, embeddings, vector search, and hybrid search. Python and/or .NET. Experience developing enterprise knowledge assistants using organizational documents and providing traceable source citations. Experience with Copilot Studio, custom AI agents, and agent orchestration. Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data, APIs, and business workflows. Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, permission-aware retrieval, and security trimming. Experience evaluating LLM solutions for groundedness, hallucinations, prompt injection, and answer accuracy. Strong Azure architecture and enterprise solution-design experience.
