Position Overview As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Stafford, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type and Pay Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related issues. Monitor entrances, hallways, waiting areas, and other assigned locations to help control access, assist with directions, and/or support site protocols for visitors and contractors. Assist with medical center operations by communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns, supporting emergency procedures, and/or helping to maintain orderly conditions throughout the location. Minimum Requirements Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
