Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab. You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on cardiac care, providing critical support to various procedures.

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 7 holding beds
• Patient Ratios: As per facility standards
• Staffing Description: Includes unit secretaries and availability of technicians
• Type of Equipment: GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation System: MacLab, Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday with STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days a month
• Floating Policy: Will float within departments of EP and Stress Lab

Patient Experience Requirements

• Commitment to exceptional patient experience and quality care.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Advanced Skills: Experience in PCI, PFO closure, Impella, and IABP.
• Requested Skill Set: Cath Lab experience, Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR.

Procedures Performed on Unit

• TAVR
• PFO closure
• Atherectomy
• PCI
• Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
• Impella/IABP management
• Implants
• Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV)
• Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
