Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a SharePoint Admin to join their team. As a SharePoint Admin, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Job Title: SharePoint Admin (No C2C)
Location: Laurel, Maryland
Pay Range: $48/hr depending on years of experience
What's the Job?
- Serve as the primary technical resource for SharePoint Online supporting internal teams and leadership.
- Coordinate with departments to plan and execute migration of on-premises file shares to SharePoint Online.
- Work closely with external vendors, such as Planet Technologies, to deliver training and user enablement.
- Configure, manage, and support SharePoint Online sites, libraries, permissions, and governance standards.
- Assist departments in organizing and structuring content during migration to enhance usability and compliance.
What's Needed?
- Hands-on experience supporting SharePoint Online in a cloud-only environment.
- Proven ability to migrate file shares to SharePoint Online effectively.
- Strong communication skills to work with non-technical users and guide them through change.
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills across multiple departments.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration concepts.
