Yard WorkerJoin a dynamic equipment and tool rental company where you will be actively involved in maintaining the shop and yard. Your role will include cleaning around the lot, operating machines, fueling equipment, preparing items for rental, and assisting with various tasks as needed. You will interact with customers and assist shop mechanics, making this a hands-on and customer-facing position.ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness of the lot and shop area.Operate and clean heavy construction equipment such as tractors, bobcats, and forklifts.Refuel equipment and prepare it for rental.Assist customers and shop mechanics with various tasks.Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.Essential Skills2-3 years of experience operating construction or tractor equipment.Comfortable driving heavy machinery like tractors, bobcats, and forklifts.Mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn and advance in mechanical roles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on a farm or ranch is beneficial.Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.Why Work Here?This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for growth. Be prepared for all weather conditions, including rain, snow, cold, and heat. The work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
