Performs a vital role in designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations. May also design layout, materials, and information flow or machine placement. Responsible for increasing production efficiency by evaluating performance and proposing and implementing improvements. Responsibilities: Troubleshoots problems with processes and hardware Coordinates with others in order to determine problems and implement solutions Identifies opportunities to increase efficiency with automation Research and design automation technology Create a connection between information inputs, controllers and outputs Develop tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended Investigate defects or errors in technology Simulating, installing, testing and managing electrical or mechanical automation Prepares specifications for new launch equipment Validates new launch equipment Education/Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 3+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer CAD (Computer Aided Design) experience Vision system experience Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Full-time Job function Manufacturing, Design, and Research Industries Plastics Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
