Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Palms at Sebring, a leading healthcare provider in Sebring, Florida. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain independence in their daily lives. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
Design and implement creative and engaging occupational therapy interventions to promote functional mobility, strength, and independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families to promote successful transitions and community reintegration
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
Minimum 0 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a strong desire to learn and grow with our team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and adapt to changing work priorities
