Chief of Staff – Start-up Advisory Firm
$70,000–$85,000 base DOE + discretionary bonus + benefits| Full-time | On-site 4–5 days/week, Downtown Manhattan

A growing, relationship-driven advisory firm is seeking a  Chief of Staff to work directly with the senior management team.

This is an ideal opportunity for an  ambitious, high-performing professional who wants significant responsibility and the opportunity to grow with an entrepreneurial firm.

 

Finance experience is not required. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in  start-ups, management consulting, PR, advertising, government, political campaigns, or other high-performance environments. Candidates from highly selective academic institutions are encouraged to apply.

 

What You'll Do

Operations & Execution

• Serve as a trusted extension of the Founder and senior team
• Manage projects, priorities, action items, scheduling, and follow-through
• Prepare briefing materials and research for important meetings
• Coordinate dinners, events, meetings, and other firm initiatives
• Maintain the firm's relationship systems, databases, and institutional knowledge

 

Business Development & Relationships

• Help manage and deepen relationships with founders, investors, and strategic partners
• Support introductions, follow-ups, and network development
• Help develop events, content, newsletters, and other platform initiatives
• Represent the firm professionally with external stakeholders

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing multiple priorities
• Extremely discreet and trustworthy
• Proactive — you see what needs to be done and do it
