LHH is assisting our Louisville manufacturing client in their search for strategic and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team. The CFO will serve as a key partner to the President and executive team, providing financial leadership, strategic guidance, and operational support to ensure the long-term success of the organization. This executive will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, banking relationships, IT and HR while helping build the infrastructure and processes needed to support continued growth and scalability.

Role Functions:

• Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term business and growth strategies.
• Drive financial planning, profitability improvement, cash flow management, and capital allocation decisions.
• Build scalable financial systems, reporting tools, and processes to support future growth.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, pricing analysis, and operational performance metrics.
• Evaluate capital investments, growth initiatives, and strategic business opportunities.
• Manage banking, audit, tax, insurance, and compliance activities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior finance roles in manufacturing.
• Strong background in cost accounting, financial planning and analysis, and operational finance.
• Experience supporting company growth, organizational scaling, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Proven leadership ability with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in privately held or family-owned manufacturing organizations is highly preferred.

Pay Details: $200,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year
