Carpenter

Overview We have an outstanding Contract position for a Carpenter to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DC surrounding area. Pay Rate: $35 - $60 per hour Responsibilities Maintain and repair building woodwork and equipment: bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors, drywall, patching, painting, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry support, small projects and repairs, job site prep / cleanup, material handling, basic repairs, building protection, framing, and assisting skilled trades. Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models or verbal instructions. Use a variety of carpentry hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments. Make shop computations to determine work dimensions and select necessary materials. Deliver reliable, high‑quality maintenance services that enhance client operations and safety. Qualifications At least six years of hands‑on commercial carpentry construction and repair. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Commitment to safety, service, and teamwork; integrity and a positive outlook. Diagnose issues, propose solutions, and execute repairs efficiently. Collaborate comfortably with team members, supervisors, and site contacts. Benefits Benefits offered vary by contract.
