Maintenance Assistant
Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Part-time Maintenance Assistant at our Northfield MN Location. In this position, you will be asked to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including welding, grinding, machining and fabrication. As well as cleaning, fitting, sanding and painting of equipment and assemblies. Shift available flexible, 1st shift preferred Pay $25.00 - $29.00
Responsibilities
- Support projects and equipment implementation.
- Bring project prototypes and assemblies to finished state.
- Weld and fabricate equipment as required.
- Maintain all work areas in clean organized fashion.
- Clean up after every shift and project.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units.
- Proficiency with basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in fabrication, welding and basic machining skills.
- Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows/Word/Excel.
