Laboratory Team Leader

Laboratory Team Leader position at Catalent's Greenville facility overseeing analytical teams in method development, validation, and testing for oral solid dosage forms. Reports directly to senior management and leads 3-6 laboratory personnel while supporting pre-commercial and commercial manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor team of 3-6 scientists and laboratory personnel with training and performance management
• Lead quality and safety initiatives by establishing and monitoring standards across laboratory operations
• Ensure compliance with cGMPs and standard operating procedures for all analytical work and documentation
• Author and review analytical procedures, validation documents, and regulatory submission materials
• Serve as analytical representative for internal and external clients on commercial and pre-commercial projects

Requirements

• Associate degree in biotechnology or chemistry with 9 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in science field with 8 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
• Master's degree in science field with 6 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
• PhD in science field with 4 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
• At least one year people leadership and client-facing project management experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lift 10-50 lbs unassisted and perform extensive standing, walking, and physical tasks
• Capability to work with hazardous chemicals with appropriate communication and sensory abilities
