# The Role

We are looking for a **Senior Technical Consultant / Client-Facing Engineer** who is equally comfortable discussing software architecture with developers and business objectives with clients.

This role serves as a key bridge between our clients and engineering team. You will lead technical conversations, clarify requirements, evaluate implementation options, identify risks early, and translate business goals into clear, actionable plans for our development teams.

This is **not primarily a hands-on coding position**. It is well suited to an experienced software engineer, solutions engineer, technical consultant, or technical lead who enjoys architecture, product strategy, client communication, and problem-solving while remaining closely connected to software development.

You will have meaningful ownership of client relationships and project direction rather than simply coordinating tasks.

# What You'll Own

- Lead client discovery sessions, technical discussions, project reviews, and follow-up meetings

- Understand business requirements and translate them into clear technical requirements and development priorities

- Work with engineering teams to define practical implementation approaches and delivery plans

- Help clients understand technical trade-offs, timelines, dependencies, risks, and implementation constraints

- Evaluate requirements and identify potential architecture, integration, security, scalability, or delivery risks early

- Maintain alignment between clients, developers, product stakeholders, and business decision-makers

- Proactively identify blockers and drive conversations toward clear decisions and solutions

- Prepare concise meeting summaries, technical notes, implementation recommendations, and next steps

- Communicate project progress and technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients

- Identify opportunities where additional technical capabilities or services could provide value to existing clients

- Support projects from early discovery and planning through delivery and ongoing client engagement

# What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, software architecture, or a related role

- Strong understanding of modern software systems, including web applications, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and mobile applications

- Ability to understand complex technical topics and explain them clearly to non-technical stakeholders

- Strong ability to translate business objectives into realistic technical execution plans

- Excellent spoken and written English

- Confidence leading meetings and technical conversations with US-based clients, founders, executives, and engineering teams

- Strong problem-solving, organization, ownership, and follow-through

- Sound technical judgment and the ability to make recommendations when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous

- Comfortable working independently in a distributed, remote environment

- Ability to manage multiple conversations and priorities while maintaining clear communication

- Familiarity with US business communication, client expectations, and working hours

# Nice to Have

- Experience working directly with US clients or distributed international teams

- Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, Technical Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager

- Experience participating in software discovery, estimation, architecture, or pre-sales conversations

- Experience with AI/ML products, SaaS platforms, FinTech, eCommerce, or other complex software systems

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Experience working with APIs, third-party integrations, authentication, security, or data architecture

- Exposure to product strategy, technical roadmapping, or software delivery planning

- Experience supporting long-term client accounts and identifying opportunities for additional technical work
