What You’ll Do

As a Charge Nurse (LPN), you’ll oversee nursing care during your assigned shift and help ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift.

• Provide and oversee resident care according to physician orders and care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as directed.

• Assign CNA duties, resident assignments, and breaks.

• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to physicians and families.

• Lead shift huddles and communicate important updates to nursing leadership.

• Complete accurate clinical documentation and incident reports.

• Promote infection prevention, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs.

• Assist with surveys, inspections, and facility quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.

• Active LPN license in the state of Missouri.

• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to lead a nursing team and prioritize resident care.
