Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Crescent City, California. The role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, with an emphasis on ventilated patient care, emergency medications, and sedation management. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day of duty.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 11.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid State License; Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); a minimum of 5 years of emergency room experience; Epic charting system experience preferred; at least 2 years of specific clinical experience required; candidates must have traveled previously and meet COVID-19 and Flu vaccination requirements; must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Additional Information: Every other weekend coverage is required with 3 weekend shifts per week; patient census ranges from 50-70 daily across 12 rooms; interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretary support.
