Experienced WordPress Developer

We’re looking for a talented and experienced full-time WordPress Developer to build and maintain high-end websites for a diverse range of clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including eCommerce functionality, advanced plugins, site integrations, and ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with team and clients to discuss and define website requirements.
• Build and maintain Wordpress websites from start to finish based on provided and approved designs and content architecture.
• Configuring and managing website back-end features including database and server integration.
• Troubleshooting and resolving reported website issues from team and clients.
• Working with server environments for performance monitoring and setup of website accounts and server related features/resources.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, applications, and digital media.
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Exploring and recommending new website frameworks, development methodologies and processes to optimize team workflow.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education and research.

Requirements:

• 2+ years work experience as a WordPress Developer with work examples.
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies including CSS, JavaScript, HTML and PHP.
• Experience working with debugging and testing tools
• Good understanding of website architecture and responsive design.
• Ability to project manage, adjust priorities, and collaborate with clients.
• Good communication skills and ability to develop ideas and clearly express them.
• High degree of independent judgment.
• Able to solve complex problems.
