Intake Pharmacy Technician

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Intake Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for processing incoming prescriptions, ensuring accuracy of patient and provider information, and supporting pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming prescriptions and referrals
• Accurately enter patient, provider, and medication information into pharmacy systems
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations when needed
• Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate and organized records

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience (intake experience preferred)
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or equivalent)
• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
