This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.In the role of Senior Project Manager, we'll count on you to: Direct and coordinate work of multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development and initiation to close-out)Responsible for all aspects of large complex planning and engineering projects with high degree of technical and political complexity, involving a large project teamProduce and coordinate several projects concurrently.Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with contractual, planning, and engineering meetingsResponsible for quality and all deliverables to the clientResponsible for client relations and serves as the primary point of contactDirect all work associated with the projectsResponsible for the overall financial health of the projectsTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule.Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviewsImplement quality assurance and quality control procedures.Perform risk management and mitigation procedures.Supervise large project teams and act as mentorPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Master’s degreePMP CertificationCalifornia Professional Engineer (PE) license or Professional Geologist (PG) licenseStrong leadership skills with experience building a cohesive team culture and managing team members located in various locations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable facilitating teams and presenting to client and in a public setting.Familiar with the various types of tools used to manage programs – Project Management Information System (PMIS), scheduling, cost control, document management, risk management, dashboard analytics, etc.Experience with water resources planning and management, XM Planning, water supply reliability studies, climate resiliency plans, or other related studies.May require the ability to travel#LI-JC8QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field 10 years related experience A minimum of 5 years of project management experience Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management softwareMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
