Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable **CNC Mill Machinists** with hands-on experience operating **Kitamura** and **Fadal** vertical machining centers. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in precision machining, an eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts to exact specifications.**Your Challenge:*** Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Kitamura & Fadal) performing precision machining to tolerances within 0.001”* Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T* Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed* Monitor machine performance and make corrections to maintain tolerances* Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators)* Maintain clean and organized work area* Work collaboratively with programming and quality departments**Your Expertise:*** 3+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines, preferably Kitamura and/or Fadal* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and G-code* Strong understanding of machining best practices and materials* Familiarity with conversational controls and/or Fanuc preferred* Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail* Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods* Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens* Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals**#LI-RT1****Who We Are:****Curtiss-Wright Steam & Air Solutions (SAS),** a business unit of Curtiss-Wright, designs, manufactures, tests and provides - Navy steam turbines and steam valves, nuclear steam turbines, and aftermarket steam parts, upgrades, and overhauls.Located in Summerville SC, this brand new state-of-the-art facility is approximately 134,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing in relations to machining, welding, assembly and quality inspections.*No unsolicited agency submittals please.
