The Director of Inpatient Nursing Services reports to a collaborative Chief Nursing Officer and partners with leaders in service lines, quality, finance, and case management. Daily support includes assistant nurse managers, clinical nurse specialists, unit educators, and data and throughput resources. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, accreditation readiness, patient safety, infection prevention, evidence-based practice, EHR optimization, care progression, discharge efficiency, and nurse engagement. The environment includes friendly nurses and a diverse interdisciplinary team with pharmacy, PT/OT, respiratory therapy, social work, and hospitalists.
