RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio throughout shift
• On-call requirement: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week
• Call requirements may change based on staffing needs
• Weekend coverage required as part of call schedule
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• EP/Cath experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle approximately 20 cases per day in 5-room unit
• Perform peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Work with special equipment including Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and shock wave
• Skills include cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks with guaranteed hours policy
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June-November)
