Be Inter-Con!Employment OpportunityWe are seeking professional Unarmed Transit Security Officers to provide public safety, fare inspection, and customer service across the transit system. This role combines security guard responsibilities with customer engagement, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for riders while enforcing transit regulations.Successful candidates will have strong de-escalation skills, situational awareness, and public interaction experience. Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift hours.Must possess a good distance vision in each eye, correct to 20/30 on the Snellen chart. In addition to that, must possess normal fields of vision, good depth perception, close vision correctable to Jaeger #4 type test of both eyes, and ability to distinguish basic colorsHearing loss must not exceed 30 decibels in both ears or 35 decibels in the poorer ear.Ability to pass background screening in accordance with EEOC Enforcement Guidance 915.002Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
