Maintenance Technician II

The Maintenance Technician II performs equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and new equipment installations, as needed, to support the manufacturing of consumer pressure washers, generators and water pumps.Typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Friday and Saturday 7am-3:30pm. This provides 16 hours of overtime each week.A typical day for a Maintenance Technician II may include any of the following, and no two days are the same.Ensure equipment uptime metrics are met for manufacturing and facilities equipmentTroubleshoot and repair: Pneumatic and hydraulic seals, hoses, cylinders, solenoid actuated valves and hydraulic pumpsMotors, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings and transfer platesSimple circuits, 3-phase power systems, motor controls, AC/DC Drives, PLC's and servo drive systemsUse a digital multi-meter to identify faulty wiring, blown fuses, faulty switches, terminal ends, circuit boards, breakers and photoelectric controlsProvide electrical services: run conduit, install / disconnect junction boxes, fuse boxes, and replace faulty breakersSafely operate shop tools, such as cutoff saw, drill press, bench grinder, hydraulic press, vertical band saw, arc welder, acetylene torch, and various other hand toolsAssist in other areas of operation, as needed, to provide support during absences or shortages of staffTo be successful as an FNA Maintenance Technician II, you will need to bring a few items with you. These items include:Associates degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering Technology; High School diploma with related work experience will also be consideredElectrical Apprentice or Journeyman license preferred, but not required3-5 years' manufacturing experience in a maintenance position preferredSound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systemsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivation and able to work independentlyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesCommitment to all aspects of safetyForklift experience is helpful, but not requiredBi-lingual Spanish is a plusIn addition to an exciting career opportunity, FNA Group offers a full benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with a match (100% match up to 5% of salary), vacation and personal time off (PTO), and 7 paid holidays each year.
