About the Opportunity accel bi corporation is seeking an experienced NC FAST Power BI & Data Engineer to support a critical healthcare and analytics initiative in North Carolina. This is an urgent requirement for a highly skilled professional with strong experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, SQL, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based data engineering solutions . The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data pipelines, analytics solutions, and reporting environments supporting large-scale Medicaid and Child Welfare programs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and related Azure services. Build and manage data ingestion workflows from Salesforce and other enterprise systems. Develop and support Power BI dashboards, datasets, dataflows, and semantic models. Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations. Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based analytics platforms. Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, API integrations, and reporting issues. Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver analytics solutions. Required Skills & Experience 5+ Years of Experience Strong hands-on experience configuring, designing, developing, and testing Power BI dashboards. Experience supporting Power BI datasets, dataflows, DirectQuery, and Import models. Advanced SQL development, ETL/ELT design, performance tuning, and optimization. 3+ Years of Experience Experience working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, CSV, Parquet, etc.). Strong experience designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Databricks. Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing and automation. 2+ Years of Experience Strong experience with SQL, T-SQL, and query optimization. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud technologies including: Desired Qualifications Experience integrating cloud data platforms with Salesforce or similar enterprise applications. Experience supporting healthcare, Medicaid, NC FAST, or government programs is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
