Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical IU 5 East (Stroke Unit) Full-time position at 5 East, a 20-bed stroke unit that is DNV/Joint Commission Stroke certified. Working collaboratively with care navigators, hospitalists, and neuro hospitalists to provide high‑quality patient care. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and patient communication skills to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the employee practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Preferred additional qualifications as listed in the original posting. Compensation & Benefits 36 hours per week, variable schedule. Pay range: $38.20–$57.30 per hour. Sign‑on bonus eligible. Base compensation, shift premium pay, incentive pay for select positions, and opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
