Exciting opportunities await experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who are passionate about supporting students with significant social and emotional needs. This contract position is located at a middle school, working with the innovative Pyramid Program—a specialized setting within a general education environment that delivers intensive, integrated special education and therapeutic services.
The assignment covers a leave beginning in December but offers the flexibility to start as soon as possible, allowing you to shadow the current BCBA until the leave commences. This ensures a smooth transition and thorough understanding of the program and students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavioral assessments and design individualized intervention plans for students in the Pyramid Program
- Provide guidance and ongoing support to intervention teams, educators, and paraprofessionals
- Lead functional behavior assessments and data-driven decision-making processes
- Participate in and may help facilitate Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and after-school planning sessions as necessary
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student achievement and well-being
- Foster a structured, therapeutic environment that supports the development of students’ social, emotional, and educational goals
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience delivering behavioral and therapeutic services in a school or similar setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for students with emotional and behavioral needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
