Salary: $150,000.00
We have partnered with a consulting engineers for the Utility Industries company to provide them with a Senior Civil Structural Engineer. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.
Locations: Baltimore, MD | Baton Rouge, LA | Charlotte, NC | Katy, TX | Raleigh, NC | Summerville, SC (Candidate may work from any one of these locations)
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Civil Structural Engineer:
- Active Civil or Structural Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Transmission and substation structural experience, including transmission pole foundations, substation structures, bus-work, and steel frameworks
- Foundation design expertise using direct embedment, drilled pier, and vibratory foundations
- Strong geotechnical and structural calculation experience
- Background in the electric utility, transmission & distribution, or substation industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)
- Experience preparing engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents
- 5 to 10 years of civil/structural engineering experience
Requirements for the Senior Civil Structural Engineer:
- Licensure
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Active Civil or Structural PE required
- Experience
- 5 to 10 years experience
- Transmission & Substation Structural Experience
- Electric Utility / Power Industry Background
- Experience in electric utility, transmission & distribution, or substation projects
- Technical Skills
- Foundation Design Expertise
- Direct embedment, drilled pier, vibratory foundations
- Geotechnical + structural calculations
- Software & Tools
- AutoCAD required
- Civil 3D preferred
- Documentation & Engineering Deliverables
- Experience preparing design calculations, reports, and construction documents
Other Key Requirements:
- Work on-site.
