Industrial / manufacturing Engineer

Our client is looking for an Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer for a long‑term project in Roseau, MN (Onsite). Role Name: Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer Location: Roseau, MN (Onsite) Job Description & Skill Requirements Design and optimize manufacturing, warehousing, and MPH processes. Experience in leading and handling continuous improvement projects; should have worked in cross‑functional team structures and performed on tight timelines. Drive, identify and implement key projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity and improve cycle times. Experience in performing time study, line balancing, work breakdown activities and conducting VA/NVA/RNVA analysis and ergonomics studies. Identify process improvements and support productivity improvement initiatives. Should have experience in high‑volume, high‑mix production environments. Experience in multi‑model line balancing and level loading. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, total quality management, Kaizen, 5S, material tracking – Kanban, Poke‑Yoka, etc. Strong experience in developing operational methods such as SOPs, work instructions, Gemba processes according to required standards. Analyze data collected from shop floor and perform capacity calculation and cell utilization assessments. Experience in piloting data for industrial factory items, BOMs, routings, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, business administration, or related fields such as mechanical or production engineering. A master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing consulting or a related role. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to deliver effective training. Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
