Location: Urbandale, Iowa Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm

Why This Role Matters In this role, you'll serve as the face of the organization—building trust with patients while ensuring accurate specimen collection and handling. Your attention to detail and patient-focused approach directly contribute to diagnostic accuracy and overall patient care quality.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain required signatures to ensure accuracy
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment
• Deliver excellent customer service while explaining procedures and putting patients at ease
• Complete documentation and maintain records in accordance with established procedures
• Adapt to working across multiple locations as needed based on staffing demands

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong phlebotomy and specimen handling skills in a high-volume environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in a patient service center environment preferred
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
