Charge Nurse (RN) Full-Time | $45-48/hr Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-12pm Location: Athens, GA 30606 About Southern Pain and Spine Southern Pain and Spine is a leading interventional pain management practice serving North Georgia and Metro Atlanta. Our board-certified team provides personalized treatment plans and minimally invasive procedures designed to reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life. The Opportunity In this hands‑on, patient‑facing role, you’ll coordinate and deliver care across the surgical continuum. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe workflows, positive patient outcomes, and adherence to evidence‑based standards. What You’ll Do Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes. Assist with daily clinical workflow coordination and staffing coverage. Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and support staff. Support compliance, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives. Supervise support staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols. Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities. Conduct patient assessments, monitor responses to treatment, document findings, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team. Provide nursing support throughout pre‑operative, procedural, and recovery phases of care. Uphold facility standards, ethics, and evidence‑based procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. BLS and ACLS certification required. Previous Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or Pain Management experience preferred. EHR experience (Athena) preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. CPAN certification preferred. Skills & Physical Requirements Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push up to 300 lbs.
