Job Title: Personal Lines Insurance Agent
Job Summary Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join a growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized advice and guidance on personal insurance policies, including home, auto, and other lines of coverage.
- Assess clients' needs to suggest appropriate insurance solutions, focusing on long-term protection and financial security.
- Educate clients on the benefits and limitations of policy options to ensure informed decision-making.
- Prepare and present quotes, process applications, and finalize policy documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
- Stay updated on industry trends, compliance regulations, and product offerings to better serve clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries, claims, or billing matters promptly and professionally.
- Continuously develop expertise through professional training and certification programs.
- Licensure: A valid state license to sell insurance products is required or must be obtained within a specific timeframe upon hire.
- Experience: Previous experience (1-3 years) in personal lines insurance or a related sales/customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with a client-first mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in insurance software tools and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Sales-driven, with a focus on achieving performance metrics and client satisfaction.
- Work Ethic: High integrity, accountability, and a passion for exceeding client expectations.
