Marketing Coordinator — Creative, Social & Content

Position Overview

DuraEdge is seeking a creative, digitally savvy Marketing Coordinator who can bring our brand to life across social media, digital channels, email, video and marketing materials.

This role is ideal for a hands-on creative who understands what makes content stop the scroll, has a strong eye for design, and can turn ideas into polished graphics, short-form videos, social posts and other engaging content. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of current social media trends, platform best practices and audience behavior, while also being comfortable managing the day-to-day execution of marketing programs.

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to develop and execute creative marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Creative Content

• Develop compelling, on-brand creative assets for social media, email, digital advertising, presentations, trade shows and other marketing initiatives.
• Design graphics, social posts, infographics, sales materials, brochures, product guides and other marketing collateral.
• Maintain consistency across all DuraEdge visual communications, including brand standards, typography, imagery and overall creative direction.
• Translate marketing concepts and campaign strategies into engaging visual content.
• Work with internal and external partners, photographers, designers and other creative resources as needed.
• Photograph products, events, ballfields, customers and other brand-related content when appropriate.

Video & Content Production

• Create and edit engaging short-form and long-form video content for social media, email, websites, sales presentations and other digital channels.
• Shoot and edit video using professional editing tools and mobile content-creation platforms.
• Develop social-first video content, including Reels, TikToks, Shorts and other vertical video formats.
• Add music, graphics, captions, transitions, branding and other elements to create polished, engaging videos.
• Repurpose longer-form content into multiple short-form videos and social assets.
• Help coordinate video shoots with customers, employees, industry experts, Minor League Baseball and other partners.
• Stay current on emerging video formats, editing techniques and content trends.

Social Media

• Manage day-to-day content creation and publishing across DuraEdge social channels.
• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with marketing priorities, campaigns, partnerships and seasonal opportunities.
• Monitor social platforms daily and identify relevant trends, conversations and opportunities for the DuraEdge brand.
• Stay current on social media trends, algorithms, platform updates, emerging creators, formats and best practices.
• Understand the differences between platforms and tailor content appropriately for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and other relevant channels.
• Identify opportunities to leverage trending topics, sounds, formats and cultural moments in a way that is authentic to the DuraEdge brand.
• Monitor social performance and use engagement, reach, views and other metrics to continually improve content.
• Engage with followers, customers, industry influencers and relevant communities.
• Build relationships with industry influencers, media partners and key communities.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

• Work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer to understand the strategic vision for the brand and execute campaigns and individual assignments with precision.
• Create marketing content across social media, video, email, articles, customer education, newsletters and other channels.
• Assist with email campaign development, testing, deployment and tracking in Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Assist with HTML email creation and versioning.
• Coordinate the development and production of marketing collateral, including materials associated with the Minor League Baseball partnership.
• Support promotional events, trade shows, ballpark suite experiences and other marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for new content and campaigns.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop creative assets and content that support lead generation and customer engagement.

Analytics & Optimization

• Track and report on social media performance, including engagement, reach, video views, follower growth and other relevant KPIs.
• Analyze email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates and responses.
• Use performance data and audience insights to recommend improvements to content and campaigns.
• Monitor competitor and industry activity to identify creative and social opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, content creation, graphic design or a related field.
• Strong graphic design skills and a portfolio demonstrating high-quality creative work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar video-editing software strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated video editing and content-production experience, particularly short-form social video.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok and the best practices for each platform.
• Deep awareness of current social media trends, emerging formats and content strategies.
• Ability to create content that is visually compelling, authentic and optimized for social engagement.
• Strong photography and visual storytelling skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining social media content calendars.
• Experience with email marketing platforms and HTML email creation preferred.
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation and ERP systems; Salesforce, Pardot and NetSuite preferred.
• Experience with paid social and search advertising is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Interest in sports, baseball or the sports-turf industry is a plus.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates should submit a portfolio or examples of their creative work, including graphic design, social media content, video editing and/or photography.
