Productive Assistant Shop Foreman - North Park Lincoln at Dominion

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven Productive Assistant Shop Foreman to support daily service operations within a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure efficient workflow, timely vehicle repairs, and effective coordination between technicians and service advisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Foreman in coordinating daily shop workflow and technician assignments
• Monitor repair progress and communicate status updates to service advisors and management
• Help ensure timely completion of repair orders and adherence to production goals
• Support quality control processes by reviewing completed work for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organization of the shop, including equipment, tools, and work areas
• Assist with dispatching work to technicians based on skill level and availability
• Track and manage repair order flow to minimize delays and downtime
• Communicate with parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts
• Help enforce safety procedures and compliance with company and manufacturer standards
• Step in to support shop operations as needed to maintain productivity

Requirements

This position requires strong organizational and communication capabilities, along with the ability to multitask in a high-volume service environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to supporting team efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of automotive service experience preferred
• Prior experience in a shop environment or dispatcher role is a plus
