Global Controller

A rapidly scaling global organization is seeking a strategic and operationally minded Global Controller to build and lead an institutional-grade accounting infrastructure across a complex, multi-entity environment. This role is designed for a senior finance leader who thrives in high-growth, evolving organizations and has experience building scalable accounting architecture, strengthening operational rigor, and driving finance transformation initiatives across global operations. The position will play a critical role in modernizing accounting processes, standardizing reporting frameworks, enhancing financial systems infrastructure, and elevating the organization’s overall control environment to support continued growth and increasing complexity. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across finance, operations, technology, legal, and corporate development teams. Key Responsibilities Design and lead a scalable global accounting infrastructure across multiple entities and jurisdictions Standardize accounting policies, close procedures, and reporting frameworks across the organization Build institutional-grade documentation standards, technical accounting memorandums, and operational controls Oversee the global close process, including consolidations, intercompany activity, foreign currency translation, and financial reporting Serve as the technical accounting lead for complex and non-routine transactions Identify accounting and operational risk areas while implementing scalable process improvements and governance structures Lead integration efforts related to acquisitions, new entities, and operational expansion initiatives Drive modernization initiatives across ERP systems, financial reporting infrastructure, and workflow management platforms Evaluate and implement scalable close management and reporting tools to improve workflow governance and operational discipline Strengthen governance surrounding data integrity, access controls, reporting accuracy, and review procedures Lead external audit engagements and coordinate effectively with auditors and external advisors Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing global accounting organization capable of supporting continued scale Operate strategically while remaining hands-on within a fast-paced and evolving environment Desired Background 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience preferred Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leader within a complex multi-entity environment Deep expertise in US GAAP, consolidations, technical accounting, and global reporting structures Experience with international operations, foreign currency translation, and complex legal entity structures Exposure to M&A integration, operational scaling, and systems transformation initiatives Strong background in accounting infrastructure, operational controls, and process standardization Experience improving or implementing ERP systems, close management tools, and reporting platforms Executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders globally Ability to bring structure, rigor, and scalability to evolving environments Strong communication, leadership, and organizational development capabilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Green Key Resources
