As an experienced PTA, you will work under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists and play a key role in helping patients restore function, decrease pain and return to the activities they enjoy. Your typical day may include assisting with evaluations, carrying out individualized treatment plans, progressing exercise programs, performing therapeutic activities, providing patient education, and documenting care in the EMR. You can expect a steady, productive caseload with scheduled 1:1 or small-group patient sessions, depending on the clinic's model. The clinic environment is designed to support efficiency and clinical excellence, with well-equipped treatment areas, therapeutic exercise equipment and private or semi-private treatment spaces.
