Project Manager - Manhattan Office

Description Torgeson Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial and/or industrial construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from kickoff to completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Coordinate with general contractors, owners, field leadership and internal teams. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project alignment. Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders. Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions. Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and procurement of materials. Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies. Support field teams, foreman and junior staff. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3-7+ years of project management experience in electrical construction. Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Experience managing budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, etc.). Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Salary range The salary range for this position is competitive and relevant to experience.
