Thera Greek Frozen Yogurt is looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable Team Member to help create an exceptional guest experience. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for serving frozen yogurt, assisting guests with toppings and menu selections, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, takes pride in cleanliness and organization, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Team Members will also be responsible for properly operating, cleaning, and maintaining equipment according to company procedures while helping bring the authentic Greek hospitality experience to every guest.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive guest experience
• Assist customers with frozen yogurt flavors, toppings, and menu recommendations
• Prepare and serve products according to company standards
• Follow opening and closing guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including dining areas, counters, and restrooms
• Clean the store at closing leaving it impeccable
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• Operate frozen yogurt machines and equipment according to company procedures
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain frozen yogurt machines and equipment on a daily basis
• Monitor product quality and report any equipment or maintenance concerns to management
• Restock toppings, supplies, cups, and other inventory items as needed
• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale operations
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
• Follow company policies, procedures, and appearance standards
• Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming atmosphere for guests and fellow team members

Experience

• Previous experience in an ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato, or similar frozen dessert shop is strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain areas clean at ALL times, and to leave the store clean at closing.
• Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining frozen yogurt or soft serve machines is highly preferred
• Experience with Carpigiani machines is a major plus and will be given priority consideration
• Barista experience
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and equipment cleaning procedures
• Ability to maintain product quality and consistency while following operating standards
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
