As a Senior Commercial Loan Officer, you will be responsible for the following: Executing TFCU’s Strategic Commercial Lending Initiatives, with a targeted focus on driving membership growth, cultivating new business partnerships, and expanding commercial market presence. Ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory and policy requirements, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and other institutional compliance policies. Proactively develops business through referrals from realtors, builders, financial planners, and other strategic sources, while educating clients, originating qualified loans to grow the commercial portfolio, and delivering required disclosures in accordance with legal standards. Handling the most complex and diverse tasks, operate with minimal supervision, and serve as senior leaders within the commercial services team. Modeling best practices, support the onboarding and development of new team members, mentor peers in portfolio growth strategies, and deliver exceptional service through a broad network of partnerships and resources. Salary Range : The starting salary range is $179,314.39 - $224,142.98; however, actual placement within the range of the levels will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity. Education/Experience : A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, advertising, or a related field for all levels is required. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Requires nine years or more experience within commercial lending. Experience with managing commercial loan relationships, commercial credit analytics, tax return analysis, and financial accounting concepts are required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority. NMLS License. Keys to success: In order to be successful as a Senior Commercial Loan Officer, you must possess these qualifications: Must have superior sales skills and be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must have the ability to motivate, influence and/or train others. Have excellent interpersonal skills and the strong ability to foster relationships. Must have excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and public speaking. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, employees, and members. Knowledge of product lines, corporate goals, and industry conditions.
