IAM Manager - High-Performance Computing and Cloud Infrastructure

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role at a fast-growing, private equity-backed infrastructure business. Your focus is IAM and workload identity. You are leading engineers building the systems, not just administering them. Think SPIFFE/SPIRE, workload-to-workload authentication, non-human identity at scale, and IAM for AI workloads. This is the forward-looking, technically complex end of identity engineering, far removed from access reviews and user provisioning cycles. You'll inherit a small, functioning team and you have the mandate to grow it, with headcount already earmarked for expansion. That means real influence over hiring, team shape, and culture from early on. The organisation is still in its build phase, which means your decisions carry genuine weight. A software engineering or computer science background is essential, along with prior experience leading software engineers, ideally as an engineering manager or in a similar capacity. You should still be hands‑on and engineering‑minded, rather than purely operational. Your technical depth in IAM is strong; familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID is a plus (it's already part of the stack here), but the priority is your background building and leading in modern identity engineering, not enterprise IAM administration. Coming from a SaaS, startup, or mid-sized tech background is great because you'll be used to ambiguity, moving fast, and getting hands‑on without waiting for a fully built‑out process. Location: Dallas, 3 days onsite. The firm is looking for the best candidate, so relocation is available if needed. Compensation: Competitive senior‑level base salary plus bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Saragossa
