Cashier

Cashier Position

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented cashier to join our fast-paced fast food team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience. As a cashier, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the restaurant.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Process customer payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payment methods.
• Provide accurate change and receipts to customers.
• Ensure the accuracy of orders before handing them to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
• Assist with stocking and organizing inventory in the front of house.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous cashier or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Basic math skills and cash-handling experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
