Sales & Cleaning Technician
Rigdon Inc. is growing our Arkansas team, and we are seeking a motivated, dependable Sales & Cleaning Technician to join our staff. This is a hybrid sales and production position. The right candidate will not only perform professional cleaning services but will also identify sales opportunities, provide estimates, recommend services, follow up with customers, and help grow their market.

For more than 30 years, Rigdon has provided professional cleaning services to residential and commercial customers. We offer competitive pay, paid on-the-job training, a company vehicle for work-related use, and opportunities to grow with our company.

Industry experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train someone who is motivated, comfortable talking with customers, has a strong work ethic, and is ready to learn both the production and sales sides of our business.

What You'll Do

Production & Service

• Perform interior and exterior window cleaning
• Perform gutter cleaning and minor gutter repair
• Perform power washing and soft washing
• Complete cleaning of homes, decks, patios, and other surfaces
• Perform ladder and high cleaning as needed
• Complete jobs safely, efficiently, and according to Rigdon's quality standards
• Maintain company equipment and work vehicle
• Provide an excellent customer experience from arrival through job completion

Sales & Customer Development

• Identify additional service opportunities while on-site with customers
• Recommend services based on the customer's property and needs
• Prepare and present estimates and bids
• Follow up on estimates and potential sales opportunities
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Educate customers on Rigdon's available services
• Cross-sell and upsell appropriate services
• Help generate new business and grow sales within the assigned market
• Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the sales and service process

This is not strictly a production position. Successful candidates should be comfortable performing hands-on cleaning work while also talking with customers, recognizing opportunities, and asking for the sale.

Minimum Qualifications

• Punctual and dependable

• Experience in cleaning, home services, sales, or customer service is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable selling services and communicating with customers
• Motivated by goals and results
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness and ability to perform ladder and high cleaning
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. consistently
• Physically able to perform job duties for 8 or more hours per day, including standing, climbing ladders, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement
• Clean and professional appearance
• Ability to follow company procedures and safety standards
• Applicants must adhere to Rigdon's grooming and appearance standards, which prohibit facial tattoos

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional Saturdays may be required

Compensation

• $18–$20+ per hour, based on experience
• Paid weekly
• Additional earning opportunities may be available based on sales performance

• Full-time employees are eligible for company-supplemented insurance after 60 days
