*Description of role:*

We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will process and fill prescriptions at our Batesville location. You will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a pharmacy technician, you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers. Our store hours are 8:30am - 6pm on Monday-Friday and Saturday's 9am - 2pm. Your schedule will include 36-40 hours per week including up to 2 Saturdays per month.

*Tasks:*

* Accurate medication counting and packaging
* Computer input
* Selling durable medical equipment
* Checking inventory
* Balancing cash drawers
* Making deposits
* Generating reports
* Other office duties

*Skills and Requirements:*

* Minimum of 2 years experience at a retail pharmacy
* RX30 software experience is preferred
* High level of care and compassion for others
* Excellent customer service skills
* Effective communication
* Organizational skills
* Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement
