Quality Technician

Jamestown, United States | Posted on 03/18/2026 The Quality Technician will play an essential role in ensuring that manufacturing processes adhere to the highest quality standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications. Document inspection results and track defect trends to identify areas needing improvement. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to analyze quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain and update quality documentation, including quality manuals and procedures. Assist in the development and execution of quality control plans and audits. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance and efficiency. Train and mentor other staff on quality assurance and quality control processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety protocols. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices. Proficient in using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for effective problem solving. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Desired Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards or similar quality assurance frameworks. Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and statistical process control methods is a plus. Knowledge of military hardware standards or related industries will be advantageous.
