Work authorization required.What You'll DoThe Lead Steward supervises and participates in stewarding operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization are maintained throughout kitchen and food service areas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead, train, coach, and evaluate Stewarding team members, ensuring adherence to service, safety, sanitation, and company standards while fostering a positive and productive work environmentSupervise daily stewarding operations, including dishwashing, sanitation, waste management, and cleaning schedules to maintain efficient kitchen support and operational readinessClean and sanitize china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of all service wareMaintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchens, production areas, walk-ins, coolers, drains, floors, walls, and stewarding equipment in accordance with health and safety standardsOversee stewarding carts, waste disposal processes, and overall organization of back-of-house areas to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environmentEnsure the proper use, storage, labeling, and handling of cleaning chemicals and materials in compliance with safety regulations and MSDS requirementsConduct pre-shift meetings, recognize team performance, and maintain a visible leadership presence to promote communication, teamwork, and operational excellenceWhat To BringSuccessful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required. Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card. Hawaii Driver's License and Abstract is required for this role.
